I roasted a turkey today on the Traeger so we're having turkey sandwiches this evening. Hopefully a good bit goes toward a gumbo this time.

I've got a pan of lasagna in the oven and wishing I had some romaine lettuce for a Caesar.

Picked up a quart of strawberry and a quart of Turtle at Baskin Robbins for dessert.

Fried Oysters and a salad from Gumbo Pot at 3401 #5 Halls Ferry Road in Vicksburg. Really good bar. Lots of good stuff on their menu. Our Second time there and we will go back.

Beautiful Bird Nate! One of the nicest ones I have seen.

Have you been there? I like their food a lot and the price seems reasonable too.

You wouldn't have to come very far into Mississippi to eat there.
