The Brits do love their beans for breakfast.

Yea if I can throw down some garlic pepper and hot sauce on it, I would likely not hate it.

I'm far from Andrew Zimmern (who used to routinely eat things like tarantulas on his show as he traveled the world). But as a dad who has the designation as the family's garbage disposal, and who routinely forages through the fridge to polish off week+ old leftovers of dubious origin, a rather bland looking huevos rancheros in pizza / flatbread format isn't exactly intimidating.

Does it look like it tastes good? ... No. But nothing to be wigged out about either. I'd eat it as is if I were just looking to eat something quick. Would add sour cream & salsa if I felt like dressing it up.

I absolutely love pizza. But no way in hell I’m eating that.

I think I could do a much better job, that doesn't pass the eye test.

I’m not seeing the issue? The picture is low quality and there’s certainly some prep issues with the amount of beans and sunny side up eggs.

But a thinner pizza crust with a good chew would be great underneath smokey beans and a fried egg.

That pizza reminds me of working down in Australia and seeing people eat baked beans on toast for breakfast.

Local pizza place by us opened at the beginning of COVID. Great pizza, but terrible timing. As they were struggling to build their business, they started doing brunch on Sat/Sun. Breakfast pizzas.

To this day, those were some of the best brunches I’ve ever had. Eggs of easy with Conecuh sausage. Scrambled eggs and chorizo. Once the business got going, they stopped brunch. I still ask them about it.

So yes, I’d try that.
