Next Saturday for lunch and it needs to be casual. Possibly seafood.

What would be your absolute best choice of restaurant.

I thought you were looking for a crematorium or something. “Here at Casual Rest we take care of all of your deathly needs. We’ll fire you up while your loved ones enjoy roasted marshmallows, all beef weenies on a stick, s’mores and more!”

Mildly-interesting number to give as a radius. Not 5 or 10.

Here's a 6.2 (10 KM) radius circle from the Union. If that appropriately limits you, do not wander past Airline Highway... there be dragons.

Gas prices are high, bruh. 9 miles is expensive.

Chimes or Parrains. They have the same owners, Parrains is more seafood focused. (Although the Chimes has the bases covered with seafood)

Mike Andersons for lunch is always a perfect choice for me and Mzjimlahey. The shrimp and catfish are great.

Parrain’s or Chimes are the easy choices.

Elsie’s is also fantastic, though they have a little different spin.

Slightly more upscale, but I've been very impressed with Eliza Restaurant the few times I've been in Baton Rouge in the past year.
