Went to the wine warehouse in folsom and left with 2 cases of this. 2 cases for $108. Pretty damn good considering it's usually $20-25 a bottle.

CDR is a great blend. Made with majority of Grenache grapes, the producers in southern Rhône would say that Grenache grape is what the Pinot noir grape tries to be. Lol

No pic. But there’s a good winery out of Arkansas that makes a wine called parachute. It’s delicious.

2013 was a great year for Brunellos. I visited Montalcino last summer and got a few bottles from the smaller producers that were part of our tour. Recommended cellaring for 8 years.

Marc Plouzeau Rive Gache Chinon

MAde from Cabernet Franc grapes

Great acidity. Made to be paired with food.

It’s fantastic. You can find it in the French wine section at Martin’s

It really was. We were really excited to bring that 2013 Argiano to the market last year. I love it.

Opened this to get ready for Game of Thrones. All leather on the nose. Soft fruit and tobacco. Nice but at end of its life.

Ribeye and French fries

They think that 2016 may be the best year ever. 2010 was a stellar year well. The 2016 release will coincide with our every three year pilgrammage to Tuscany so I'm stoked for that trip.

Yes, they are. I have about about a case and a half of 2010. It's time to start enjoying them. I should have purchased a lot more.

I shipped about 3 cases of various 2013 Brunellos home last September. They'll be sitting for several more years.

Do you ever order wine from Zachys.com. There's some good deals on 13 Brunellos. I just put an order in couple bottles of Assunto Bellaria for $30 a bottle.

What are some 2010's Brunellos I should look out for. Not a baller, trying to find stuff around $50 750ml.

Freakshow is a good wine for the price. I like the cab best.

Any info about the 2013 canalicchio di sopra? I have one I bought a couple months back.

Thinking about getting an Altesino also

I usually order my Brunello when I'm at Enoteca Fortezza on a trip.

2010 was a stellar year. Finding bottles around $50 might be starting to get tough because of the age on the wine now.

I have 3-4 bottles of 2010 Altesino. I'm still letting it sit at this point. That was a good buy for me. I got them at around $45 a bottle and they're more than double that now.

I've ordered from Sokolin but not Zachys.com. In a great year it's hard to go wrong. You should be able to source bottles for your price point.

Another summertime choice. This is, to me anyway, a treaty between a rose and a red wine. Light bodied, bursting with fruit, but dry and crisp. Hard to pinpoint but very versatile with food. Lamb chops, grilled vegetables, hummus, couscous, and some Naan. And swimming of course.
