quote:Yep. Enoteca Falorni a/k/a/Le Cantine in Greve is my favorite. You buy a debit card to use on machines that dispense some of the top notch Brunellos, Vino Nobile de Montepulcianos, and especially Chianti Classico Riservas. They have about 120 of these machines. We stay in a town about 30 minutes from there but always make it a point to visit this place. The room is nice, with stone walls, plush sofas and background music. In the late afternoon it is like a nice cocktail lounge that serves fantastic wines....... The enoteca in the fort in Montalcino is great for tasting some of the best vintages of Brunellos.
That enoteca and the enoteca in Greveare are by far the best

3 more good wines that I drank this weekend in Chicago. I sure wish Texas allowed customers to bring their own wine into restaurants.
2017 Peter Michael Le Caprice - a new (to me) Pinot Noir - outstanding. I don't drink many Pinot's. We drank this at Trattoria #10 - an Italian restaurant in Chicago. Great with Italian lobster ravioli.
2015 Peter Michael Ma Belle Fille - best Chardonnay on the planet. We drank this at the Girl & The Goat in Chicago. Paired well with our meal.
2001 Chateau Palmer - Bordeaux - my favorite all-time Bordeaux from Margaux. Finished the weekend at Chicago Chop House - this went great with our steaks.

I was on the fences about getting a corgi but my wife insisted. I was pulling for a Dalmatian, found a breeder with all the boxes checked in Oregon but went to upstate New York instead to get the Corgi.

Wow .. well, will need to do my homework if we go down that road. Was hoping for a closer to Nola acquisition.

You can find them in la. We planned a trip to nyc. Found a breeder with all The boxes checked and made a road trip out of the process.
Follow corgi of Louisiana on Facebook. There are some local breeder.

14 Hands Cab is one of my go-tos when it comes to wine.

I was gifted this bottle of Cab.
I'm hesitant to try it.

Love that wine. Once had a Jeroboam of it for Thanksgiving. Perfect wine for that.
