Anyone have any recs(or avoidances) on wine coolers?

Looking for something fairly small -- 30-40 bottles or so. Preferably dual zoned. Stand Alone to put in my media/exercise room.

I had a Danby crap out on me a few years ago. When I finally looked them up on Google, the reviews were negative.
I replaced it with a 160 bottle from Costco 6 years ago. No complaints.

We have the NewAir with 2 zones. It’s been very good.

There is no need for 2 zones. Store all your wine at 57* Bring reds up to temp and whites/sparkling down 30-60 minutes before enjoying.

Dual zones always break and it’s always the colder zone.

For wine yes.
We have beer and seltzers on the cold side.
But when it tuckers out I’m going to just go with a single zone for wine and put beer in the fridge in the garage.

I’ve had this newair model for about 6 years now. No complaints, it keeps very good temperature. It holds 27 bottles, but I just saw that they also have a 33 bottle one for a little more money. Not dual zoned but they do make that too.

Buy a Samsung regular refrigerator and wait six months then it will only cool down to 50 degrees.

I have a 20 bottle, under the counter U-Line that is excellent. Never missed a beat. Probably 12 years old.

This has been my experience. We're on our third wine refrigerator. The first two were dual zone and both had issues with maintaining temperature. Also, whatever you choose, just make sure it's compressor based and not thermoelectric.

The compressor based refrigerators are more efficient at maintaining consistent temperature.

I just buy the very basic ones that they have at places like Sam's. The ones that have 36 slots can be jammed with almost 50 bottles if you do some doubling up and use the bottom drawer. They last for several years. When they give out I just buy another one.
