Who the frick wants to drink that much of an imperial stout?

Does it age better in a larger volume?

Split the big bottle with someone else you say? Sure. I'd happily split 2 12 oz bottles as well. It just doesnt make sense. Sell me a 4 pk of 12 oz bottles for the equivalent. Or single 12 oz. genius.

anywho. what is the deal.

Probably boils down to packaging and shipping cost. Not to mention in the case of CBS, people are likely going to be sharing it due to the rareness and price. I would bet several buddies went in half on a bottle since sticker was like $25.

I'm not sorry.

It's two beers in one bottle. Nut up or get a bottle stopper.

Meant to be shared? Profit margins? Shipping? Internal bottle pressure? I don't know. You don't see many people complaining about champagne in large bottles.

If you were to get a big knife and saber one of those, I'd bet testosterone would fill the room.
