The more ridiculous thing is that they had a social media countdown all week just to announce that they are releasing 2 beers: A beer they have already made multiple times and another beer, to be announce at a later date ?

Yeah, that really turned me off. I had high hopes the countdown was to announce distribution of regular Ghost in a 16oz can.

This, Mouth.

I keep buying chasing that taste of a 2015 era GITM. I am now worlds away with no path back.

Do I need taste bud surgery?

Count down would have been worth it to announce something worth a day, but to announce DDH Ghost and a Mystery Second beer when everyone knows it is Greeting from Grand Isle is just stupid.

Now I wonder the 1.64 "ticket" I'm assuming is the Eventbrite cost but if it isn't and people go in and have to pay a secondary fee how much flack will they catch even though 1.64 isn't much.

They found their upper limit from the $25/4 pack charity beer. Sounds like a success to me

It was $22/4.

DDH Ghost seems to be the only beer that people have no limit to what they will spend on it. As others pointed out, everything else they make sits around for weeks or months. This will be sold out in minutes.

All Relations still has some for sale, spaghetti models. If anything you can buy it and I can go get it and hold it for you until you make it back here.

Thanks. I’m holding some stuff for geauxldmember currently and he has some AR for me, but logistics are a pita currently. I normally go to Nola for work on a regular basis but It’s now been since the end of February that I’ve been out there

Yea that was complete bullshite. I was on the second it turned 10 & they were sold out.
I’m assuming they had 2 cases to sell.
If they are going to hype shite up like they did for this release they need to have a little more to sell.

I liked it better when I could just get up early on a Saturday, drive 15 minutes to Parish to get a good spot in line and get what I want. Covid fricked that up

Should have been around when you could just walk in the back and get your stuff without a line.

No doubt. They used to do their releases mid week and I worked in the area so that was even easier

They likely have a frick ton, but people all over the country bought it since proxies are allowed.

Nowhere near the demand of tree house though.

Lol, I went to the Event Brite website to buy a ticket because I wanted some of that Grand Isle. Never did it before, and came here to see that it sold out in less than a minute. What a joke.

It's getting sent out to all markets at what will probably be a cheaper price. I'm not gonna pick it up when I see it. It will be too sweet and not sour at all.
