You were checking TD the entire night while at the restaurant. I was sitting across from you and could see it on your iPhone.

Probably a baseball fan checking on the score.

I was there Friday night also, but not on a phone. I'll get something together as well later on. We ate at 6 restaurants over Friday through Monday and I'm still full. I'm going to eat cardboard for the next month.

I wrote to K-Paul's for a few recipes I've not found. One of the cooks told me all recipes are available for the asking, so we'll see. He gave us his name in case we needed it.

I will say, now, that K-Paul's surprised me and that it is on my list for repeat visits.

KPaul's is a top 10 NOLA restaurant...which says a lot.

When I lived in NO, there were no reservations, though he had a lunch there for a while, with a smidgen of what was on the usual menu. This is not the same as the deli lunch deal available now. I wasn't about to stand in line to get in there, though I have had every one of his cookbooks since they all came out and have worn out the first one to the extent that I'm almost in need of another one. I just never put it back on my list when I go to NO and decided it was time. Found out I'd been missing out. I think it's underrated by a lot of folks. The entire experience was really great, starting with the breads. Those molasses pecan muffins are pretty hard to pass up. I was biting my lip not to ask for another one.

I "think" that's in one of his cookbooks, but I haven't looked lately.
