Good God , I used to eat at the stockyard when the only people in there were going to the auction. Knew it was ruined when I saw a couple of broads in skirts in there for lunch.

Glad to know it’s still going strong and having success tho. Guess you Can’t keep a gem hidden forever.

I saw literally one young woman walk outta there the last time I went. All the grimy plant baws thought they’d seen a unicorn. It’s still pretty much only known by the plant workers.

Begerons on Jefferson has a good one albeit more updated. Not as much soul food.

I used to go Bergerons at least twice a week when I lived in BR. They would call my office around 9:30-10:00 and give me the daily menu.

Haven't been since they moved from Jefferson and Claycut. Looks pretty updated in the new place.

I work a stones throw from there, I'm always underwhelmed.

The new Rouse's on Bluebonnet has had some decent offerings the couple of times I've been. The best so far is the meatloaf. Very good.

Went to Bellue's once and thought it sucked pretty bad. Not nearly as good as some of the others mentioned.

Yeah I've never had the plate lunches there, but I buy their tasso and andouille all the time. Both are really good for BR.

Phil Brady's on Gov't Street has a decent plate lunch, and it's cheap.

Ronnie’s has some pretty good plate lunches.

On Thursday’s they serve big pork steaks. I think it was around $8.00 last time.

Found it, thanks. I'll have to try that place.
