Very smart lady.

My wife likes to say that she checks the oven to make sure it still works once a year when she bakes cookies for christmas.

I would say we're 70/30 with my wife doing most of the everyday stuff. I'm more of a weekend chef.

I do 99% of the cooking because I really like to eat. My wife is a capable cook, but it has simply become the thing I do. She does bake every so often.

I have had foreign guests over, particularly from the far east, when they see me cooking I might as well wear a bra & panties, it is considered very unmasculine by them. So, to not ruin the business deal I have learned to let wife cook when they come over.

We're about the same, except it's probably 80/20 in favor of the wife. On average, my dishes are probably more 'aspirational' than hers.

Unless you count making pots of coffee as cooking. Then it's about 50/50

THe wife and I both cook fairly often, we dont usually do anything real complicated, but we usually enjoy what we make. I think I am a better cook than her though

I guess I'll add I do most of the dishes, because she can't load the dishwasher for crap either

But I thought most of the top chefs in Europe are men?

I guess I'll be the first one to admit that my wife does most of the cooking all of the time. She likes to cook as does a great job. She's a stay at home mom so, even if I did want to cook it wouldn't be all that possible since I'm at work most of the day and she's at home most of the day.

Our deal is I do all the cooking, she does the dishes.

We both think we have the best end of the stick.
