I’ll be honest, I went from extremely confused to dubious to a light chuckle in one page.

Troll thread success.

Whit rice, butter, and a shite ton of sugar is a cheap easy breakfast when in a bind.

Most people who group up with a bunch of siblings and things stretched a tad thin knew that.

Butter is expensive. Use margarine instead.

Use the butter flavored oil that the restaurants use to sauté in. Then make fried rice.

They will get fuller, quicker if you wet it down with soy sauce. You can tell them it's ethnic. Act serious and they will believe you.

Naw, I'm just going to the grocery to buy some pork sausage. I'll fry that up to go with the white rice and butter. I'm not going to have gravy.

Go with pork chops.
Thin cut. Fried. Top with butter, salt and pepper.

If you want to get fancy, sprinkle a little garlic powder on also.

Perfect match for your rice.

The soiree was a great success. I fried up some pork sausage to go with the main course. As a gesture of diversity, I also offered white rice with soy sauce and sesame seed oil. THAT, is better then white rice and butter.

We played M19, watched football, and had Wu Tang Clan, NWA and Public Enemy as background music (not loud). I like the classics.

Next time, mix in a scrambled egg and they'll really feel like you're living high on the hog.

Great idea.

This thread taught me that if I learned how to make fried rice, I would be a much better host.
