Found some Benchmark full proof in Florida at ABC. Can’t wait to see what the hype is about. First time seeing New Riff, got a bourbon since I have 2 LBC rye picks. Had plenty of 114 Old Grand Dad as well.

It's pretty crazy seeing the difference between states when it comes to distribution and allocations. I landed new riff, RR13, and BT kosher rye really easily in NJ a few years ago. I'd never seen any locally. At the same time, they had BT behind the counter for 45 bucks.

2PD here we go 11yrs 5mo old ECBP B523. Not the usual profile, big vanilla still,there but the caramel note has been replaced with spice. Also,on the nose I get a tobacco note like a cigar box. Almost has an earthy taste on the palate. A nice departure from the usual super sweet caramel bombs.
ETA. This taste closer to an EHTBP than other ECBPs, oak spice and tocaco on finish very good.

Good to hear the review. The release schedule for LA makes no sense. We seem to get A a few weeks before B most years. I don't need hype to buy an ECBP at this point, but I do like the idea of venturing a little bit outside of the norm.
