I thought the same thing but I'm guessing the nose was on par before he actually went through with drinking. That might be the best rye I've had!
To answer the earlier question about the pre mixed old fashioned, it's surprisingly good. It's a good bit better than the others I've tried in the category. Really convenient for traveling.
