I am glad the traditional bib has been added, but since I just got the jd10, I figured I'd prioritize the triple mash. I foolishly expected jd10 to at least be semi available.

I'm intrigued by the single malt. I had no idea it existed until this release. The influence is apparent.

2pd is a lazy mint julep.

How is that SB bottle?

Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Strength? They are banana bombs. I can do 1 pour, but that’s about it. They are a decent find at MSRP ($80), but I don’t think I’d pay over ~$100 for one. Honestly they aren’t that much better (or different) than 1920.

3pd is man down. 4R sib was my entry into drinking neat, and I still think it's one of the best values.

I take it you like 1910 over the 1920?

I like them both, actually favor 1920 a bit as I tend to lean towards higher proofs.

I wasn’t comparing it to 1920 as a bad thing, just as a “if you can’t find an Old Forrester Single Barrel Barrel Strength, don’t feel too bad because 1920 is about 90% as good and about half the price”.

My experience is that some of the OF BP picks are really good but some are hot messes. It’s a toss up. 1920 never lets me down. Also something about whisky in that 110-120 proof range that is just right for me.

Good afternoon. 1pd. I'm getting banana and bubblegum. Yesterday,it was on the nose, but it's hitting the palate now.
