Bought my first bottle of Scotch (Highland Park 12) and have really been enjoying it with a late night cigar.
Always been more or a bourbon guy but this is excellent. Might have start trying some more.

Glenfarclas 12 is better IMO, and I like HP. It's a perfect balance. You should give it a try next time you looking to buy a peated scotch.

How does the standard label Stellum compare to the Barrell Batches?
I really enjoy some of the batches, but I’ve never pulled the trigger on the standard Stellum (I have a pick and the Rye).

I’m with you on that. It’s gotten to $75/bottle here now when it was around $60-$65.

4 grain and 4-5 years like the toasted. I expect something like a makers 46 maybe? Isn’t that one French stave finished as well. The flyer I saw said 104 proof for what it’s worth.
Got 10 cases coming so come one come all, or I’ll drink it myself

Double checked and makers 46 is French oak finished.

And that is a bottle from a brand that might be killed too. Bardstown was bought out by a privet capital company I just saw today. That usually doesn’t bode well for the product.
