What's the details on that Old Soul?

Old Soul is MGP. My understanding (I’m open to being corrected) is that the old soul “distillers” are really just barrel picking MGP and redistributing it as their own bourbon. Does it taste good? Yes. Is it worth the price? Probably not. Is it severely lacking transparency? Yes.

There are just too many other good bottles out there that are either taking MGP and finishing it to something unique or are made from scratch by their distilleries.

I didn’t think you were one of the half dozen young ladies working in the back will definitely catch you next time. We need to talk about your second location.

It depends on the bottle, most are MGP, but the 13 year is Barton I believe.

Something must have changed. I got to the last part of checkout on the double oak and talked myself out of hitting the purchase button.

Pours 1-5 were a bling flight ranking I participated in.

6PD is some exceptional Longrow with a truffle salt finished ribeye I made for me and the bride.

I've been wanting to try that malted rye. How is it? I recently ordered their single barrel rye, but couldn't find that one at a reasonable price.

I'm terrible at notes. It's tasty with a little spice. Pretty mellow at 100 proof with a nice finish.

ETA: I don't have any sample bottles yet, but I'd be happy to share a sample if you'd like

That'd be great If you want, I can send you a couple of samples and you can just reuse one of those. Just email me the address when you get a chance and let me know what kind of stuff you like.

This bottle doesn’t get popped often but on the day Robert Earl Keen begins to hang it up, I’ll crack it.

“Whenever Kindness Fails” references the spring of ‘91...we’ll have to manage with the fall of 1991 on this pour...also proper glassware
