When you say the #2 which one are you speaking of? Second in line or actually labeled 2 somewhere? That honey barrel finish sounds very interesting.
2PD. I had the small batch a few years ago and hated it. Resisted going back to this ever since, but the other day I took a shot with the full proof after seeing enough of you praise it over the years. Glad I did. This is much better. Don’t love it, but it’s a nice pour. Has a black pepper finish that’s a bit off putting to me. Other than that it’s good
Update: Nope, don’t like it. Don’t hate it necessarily, but I definitely don’t like it. 1792 is just not for me

They went pretty quick apparently My buddy talked with the manager there and said it sounds like they will have some good bottle opportunities coming up soon when the do a "grand opening" for the new addition to the store.

Hey MDS just seeing this. I can’t compare as I have only opened the Blue Run High Rye so far, but it tastes great. Deep flavors and dangerously smooth for its proof. I’ll pick up a backup if I see it again.
