My 2pd was another try at the High West peat barrel double rye. I think this whiskey may get me into scotch!

Same people hoarding the PS5s are hoarding the bourbon.

You need to try their campfire. It’s great, and it has some scotch blended in for that touch of smoke

Work Christmas party tonight at my boss' house. I brought 4 unopened bottles: Maker's 46 Cask Strength, EHT Small Batch, McKenna 10 yr, Old Ezra 7 yr Barrel Strength. Didn't hear any complaints

1PD is The Colonel. 2PD is some JDBP. Been drinking scotch all weekend, so diving into some USA pride to bring me from my roots to my home

That's cool, I wasn't thirsty anyway...

Hope you got a corkscrew handy
I have a bottle of Arran that required some extra loving to remove the cork. I wound up straining the entire bottle through a cheese cloth to get out all the little bits that fell into the juice. Good luck!

I was luckily able to get it out with a corkscrew without disintegrating in the bottle.
And ironically I replaced the cork with an old Arran cork that fit the bottle.

If I recall correctly I used a grocery bag to get my cork out. Couldn’t succeed with the corkscrew. After some video research I drained the scotch, shoved a bag in there then blew it up like a balloon. It caught the cork and I was able to pull it out with the inflated bag. Was a pretty cool technique.
That’s funny you using an Arran cork for this replacement. Ironic indeed!

I debated buying one through a seelbachs release and chose against it. That’s a high price point. Now you’re giving me fomo regrets
