Admittedly i don't post often on this thread, because i rarely drink bourbon during the week, usually it's reserved for the weekends. That being said, let me point out the pretention in this post... and there's a lot.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but i think Blantons is a damn fine bourbon. I don't know if it's worth the $70 price tag, but anytime i see it, i'll buy it.

That's the point of this thread. To share what you are drinking. And frankly, i like when people post rare shite. Curiosity on the flavor, and if it's worth the chase.

You also don't "need" 3 bottles of EH Taylor. BUt, you do like that bourbon, thus you bought it. I don't fault anyone for buying bourbon. What does piss me off is people buying "all the bottles of Eagle Rare" or another bourbon i like, at a particular store. Why? Because i want one. I have refrained, many times from buying Eagle Rare (one of my favs) because i had a bottle already, and i was being considerate to others.

Side Note: It is approaching that time of year, that the a-holes from Texas venture to BR and NO and buy up every bit of Buffalo Trace (BT, Eagle Rare, etc...) and leave the stores empty for months. That aggravates the shite out of me.

Also, admittedly, i just want to argue this morning, so feel free to retort.
