Anybody ever had this? Guy at the liquor store told me it’s one of the better bottles of small batch, got it for $39.99
Was he full of shite or is this a solid pick/deal?

Haven't had Rowan's Creek, but I've heard good things. That price is a little high though.

I had my hands on the Elijah Craig. But I’ve had that before and he recommended rowans creek, I usually don’t buy shite on the spot but he swore by it

I used to wear out rowans creek and Noah mills but it’s been a while since I got some for no real reason. It’s ok…different…I like EC a lot to. I’d buy both

Obtainium is so good. I want to age some in a small barrel for a week. Rumor has it that Old Carter American Whiskey is made from it but aged with staves or a new barrel.

Bruh….i just watched a video on that. I’m actually aging some whiskey in a barrel right now. Did Weller SR for 30 days (came out smelling amazing but tasted like straight wood…almost like Japanese whiskey). So i put a mason jar full of that with a couple of toasted oak chips for 3 days . That SIGNIFICANTLY improved it . So now i filled the barrel back with yellow label 4 roses . Gonna do 30 days . Then i think i will do something higher proof (maybe OGD114) . Then I’ll mix all 3 and let it take a 30 day nap. And probably toast the whole thing …………….wait what did you ask again?!?!? Lol
