Need to grab some Michter's Rye. Had it once and was surprised how solid it was. Pikesville is good stuff too.

I usually don't drink a lot of ryes. The only one I own is the NOBF Wilderness Trail which I think is awesome.

It’s just really where ya flavor profile is at the moment
Rye has the higher spice and not as sweet as the corn mash bills but I find it’s as more intense in that profile
Both are delicious and I go back in forth in the craving

It's weird because I love high rye bourbons. I just never really buy ryes for whatever reason.

Good evening baws, just a nip of this one tonight. Going to a tasting tomorrow night, so I’m laying low tonight.

How is that? What would you compare it to? I’m trying to get more into ryes, I have much more experience with bourbon though.

To give you an idea, Rare Breed Rye is probably my favorite rye. I also really enjoyed Wilderness Trail NOBF pick rye.

I really love this Willett rye. It’s slightly more oaky than the JD and more complex. I love rye with a little spice which makes it more interesting to me. I could have several pores of this in one night and be happy.

That Willett Rye is exceptional imho. If you find it at its regulate price, which should be around $45, get it. If you like ryes I really think you would enjoy that one.

Thanks, pretty sure I can pick one up for that. I picked up a Stellum Rye today, and I'm getting my two OC Ryes tonight
