Everyone has different tastes, and I acknowledge mine are a little immature. Me and a buddy typically go through 1/4 ounce tastings of 8-10 every other weekend or so for the last 3 or 4 months or so.

As a reference, my top 3 so far are:

Angel's Envy Bottled in Bond Cask Strength

Bookers

Elijah Craig PGA Tour Championship

It’s funny cause I love all Russell’s and Wild Turkey stuff but do not like Angel’s Envy.

Uh, wut? It’s consistently one of the best for the price. You like what you like but you’re definitely in the minority here.

Angels envy is just not good whiskey. I have a cask strength that I only bought because it was offered $100 below srp, still not close to worth what I paid.

Same with Widow Jane, never had one actually worth the price and the 15 yr might be the most overpriced bottle on the market
