I finally tried that 1792 Cognac Cask Finish. Very good on the front end (heavy berry flavor) but the back end leaves a lot to be desired. For $40, it's definitely worth it imo. I would not pay secondary market price though.

Zappa, how’s the Still Austin stuff. I think I’ve had a pour of that one at a restaurant in Dallas. I know they have some other unique things. Any absolute buys?

I think this straight bourbon is their best. I have the cognac finish and single barrel and they are just OK IMO, especially for the high price. People like their rye and blue corn but I haven't had those. I would definitely get a bottle of this straight.

Haven’t been back to this in a while. This is better than I remember. Funny how your pallet changes daily.
