This is a neck pour, and it's also delightful.

That’s one of my favorite bottles. I’d love to get my hands on an A. Smith Bowman. Don’t think they make it anywhere near here.

This bottle is as good as anything I've had recently. Nice bottle for <$60

You found it locally? Closest I’ve seen it was in Houston.

Houston is locally. Can scoop you bottles if I find more; TW had a rack of them 2 weeks ago with no limits

Mine is 3/4 full. Thanks though. Not sure why they don’t find their way down to NOLA.

You do know that it is Buffalo Trace distillate that they re destill in pot still and age it up in Virginia? Not sure why they do it.

Yeah, it's better than the blended JJB.

I get a lot of cherry in this one. Wish it were slightly higher proof

NDD - older JJB. I have a few bottles of these, but I haven't revisited in a while. They must all be SiB?

They are single barrels and the Bowman Brothers are small batch. John J is usually much better. A Smith is cask strength. They are usually distillery only but I think they have sent some limited numbers out to the market.

BT needs to get their shite together. Can we get 110 proof? 90 proof gets old. I’m sure that’s good but it would be great to fantastic with a little proof on it.

Got one of those too, lol. I spent the weekend in Louisville and visited Angel's Envy, Buffalo Trace on both Saturday and Sunday, Heaven Hill, Bardstown, and Jim Beam.

I'll post my total haul in a minute.

ETA:

The Taylor and Little Book chapter 8 and 9 aren't pictured but I grabbed them too.

That JD BP Rye is so damn good. I’m patiently waiting for the Heritage but haven’t seen anywhere yet
