Between the national election and Jackson MS mayor being indicted for bribery, today was a very good day.
How does that Meleck 6yr compare to the standard Meleck? I’m a fan of their regular stuff.

Next time I cross the river I’ll pick some up. Thanks.

I felt like I was willing us to a win with a victory level pour before the polls even closed

Man I drank a few more undocumented brown than I should have but I was focused. Charlie Kirk live stream got me through.

To answer my own Willett question, there's an 11 year, 134 proof bourbon. The rye is an 11 year as well, but I'm not sure of the proof.
Retail prices on Willett are pretty ridiculous, but I'll have a hard time passing up the opportunity if it arises.

Glad to see the proof has gone up again on the bourbon, I find their bourbon excels at higher proofs.
Still $400+ MSRP?

Yep, the price is the same as earlier this year. In retrospect I'm glad I didn't buy the lower proof release. No way I'd be getting a second this soon with that price point.
On a somewhat related note, I saw there's a new premier drams bourbon at 113 proof through seelbachs for 200. That's the highest proof I've seen so far. The rye is like 102-103.

I’m pretty convinced that mine is a Wheated mashbill, if they’d share the mashbill on the new one on Seelbach’s I’d probably pick it up. I prefer their rye bourbon mashbill.

Got verification from Blake at Seelbach’s that the 113 proof Premier Drams Bourbon is the OG Willett mashbill (72 corn, 13 rye, 15 barley).

Good to have confirmation! I'd be ordering right now if not for the WU drop. Just got that this morning. It's also an OG mash.

Wick, I think we should buy Old Carter. I could come up with a little cash.
