I need to try more 13th colony. I had a sample of the first cask strength last year, and it was incredible.

Evening baws. That’s a fantastic pour. Had a few at my neighbor’s house, first pour back home

Apparently there is a ton of aged MGP that’s hitting the market. Good news to me.

Nice travel pack. Prices and availability are finally heading in the right direction.

Second is a cocktail in a bottle. Just add a little ice.

Several different NDPs have been releasing it. The bottle I posted is 10 year MGP, Bull Run had a 10 year MGP finished in cognac cask recently, Nancy Fraley has mentioned recently that Jo Magnus cigar blend is going to go back up to at a minimum 10 year whiskey in their blends, River Root has had a several different 10+ year single barrels of MGP bourbon and rye released recently, Dark Arts has been dropping 10 year single barrels recently. I don’t know if MGP just recently sold off a ton of older barrels or if these are just coming to age and were sold in the past, but I think they were recently sold.

I was skeptical of them, but am a believer now.

Just a very solid pour at a very reasonable price point.

Larceny is known for being a hot on the neck pour. Let it sit a month and revisit.

Gave it a few weeks and big difference already. Much better. The upfront ethanol taste/feel/burn that masked the bourbon profiles is now gone.
The bourbon now has a nice bourbon sweetness that stands out then followed by the hug.

Good evening gentlemen. Pursuit rye is good stuff.

Going with some Maisano's picks tonight.
