I'm not a likker drinker but tonight I poured myself a pinky of buffalo trace at a friend's house and put an ice cube in it and swirled it around and sipped it slowly while letting his dogs out to piss while he's out of town. Part of my upper lip got numb. Is that normal? I didn't want to make a whole thread about it, thought I'd just post it here.

I didn't buy any New Riff last week because I was fortunate enough to stumble across it several years ago visiting in laws in NJ. The bourbons are solid, but they're doing some cool stuff with ryes.

Saw a guy today use a frother to aerate both neat and a mix like an old fashioned. I am intrigued by this. He says it added depth to the bourbon.
