I’ll let you know if I get an opportunity for more than 1, but it’s unlikely. The distribution is really limited. I’m actually surprised I’m getting one

I've only seen it once on a shelf, and didn't realize how small the distribution is.
Yeah, when I saw you say that earlier

Won't make that mistake again
. Pretty much anytime i see anything limited release on a shelf, I grab it now.

Lol. I get punished by clothes purchases in retaliation so my cost per bottle doubles.

Did you get the ECBP in state?
I picked up a couple of bottles (C920) in central MS last week.

FPD, seems appropriate for the task at hand

I know I’m late to the party here, but got a special delivery from the 504 today.

Glad they made it up to you. Hope you enjoy!

Some nice finds at Costco in Colorado Springs today.
Grabbed some Ardbeg Wee Beastie, bottle of Old Elk and Axe and the Oak Rye (axe and oak is a local distillery in town that makes a pretty nice bourbon. Haven’t had the rye yet)

Not so bad on a Sunday evening

Hey EC, didn't try the OF1920 until recently but it's a good pour. Might have to try some of the other OF

I see you post scotch a lot.
What is your opinion on Ardbeg Wee Beastie?
I've been thinking of getting that since it's available right down the street. Should I pull the trigger or get something else? Want to get a peated scotch.

Have you had peated scotch before?
If you haven't, I wouldn't go right into the big 3 from the Kildalton shore.
If you have and enjoy them, Wee Beastie is only a five year old, so it's gonna be very strong with peat and a lot brighter than the classic ten. The ten will have had time to mellow a bit more and become more rounded. Wee Beastie will be really peaty and really sweet fruit behind it.

It’s one of my favorite “easy to find” bourbons.
If you get a chance to get one of the Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Strength store picks, those are typically really good too.

Finally got to my next pour
2pd
I will say both of these were much more enjoyable than the first go round last week.

That Balcones single Malt Whiskey is great. It’s a 100% malted barely mash bill, so if you are like me and like Scotch, that one will be right up your alley. Very reminiscent of a good Speyside whisky.
I didn’t care so much for the Baby Blue Corn bourbon though.
