Haha...didn't know you were an attorney.

I an only in house now and own some businesses. I really don't miss the billing and practice of law.

is anyone else serious about scotch....seems more of a bourbon board?

I'm on more of a scotch kick right now. I've just enjoyed trying them, and I'm loving the complexity.

All I drink, usually 18 years or older

Glenmorangie 18 is my currently my daily sipper. Around $100 makes it a great value

Favorite Irish Whiskey is Bushmills 16 around $75

Just for everyone's info, Red, white and brew in Hammond is having a scotch tasting on June 13th for $20 and a bourbon tasting June 20th for I think the same price. No idea of what will be sampled.

Spoken like an uneducated Bourbon drinker

If the taste of grass and dirt in Scotch does not appeal to me how does that equate to me be an uneducated bourbon drinker?

I think of myself as a Whiskey fan, with or without the "e". I have more experience with Bourbon, but have started exploring Rye and Scotch. I really like the single malt scotches. There is more variability in taste and more different types to try. Also, you don't have the ridiculous craze around scotch right now that you have around Bourbon.

About half of scotch has these flavor notes...it sounds like you may need to branch out a bit.

So those of us who like Lagavulin should just quit? It sounds like you are still in college.

My day has officially been made. Jefferson's Bourbon replied to our bourbon review on our page. Just too excited and had to share.
