Heading up to Oxford/Memphis next weekend for the baseball series...anyone know any local stores along the way that might have some rare stuff we can't get down here? (OWA 107, etc)
If I happen to see anything super-rare, I'll pick up a few and see if anyone wants the extras.

Does anyone have any reviews of the Hibiki 12 year Japanese Whiskey? They have a bottle at my local shop and I've always been intrigued.

Hibiki 12 is a very nice single malt...very smooth, easy to drink, lots of honey and vanilla...not as complex and some Scotch but solid

That JPS 21 rye is great stuff. Then again, I love some good ryes. That's about retail for it.

Have no doubts it's good, but I was mainly posting to see if anyone was interested. I almost bought the AE rye today, but passed on it again. I know, I know
It's always available here, so when that's the case, I go for something else first.

Me too! It's tough to find around here. Was a unicorn for a while, then suddenly appeared on the shelf one day...three 750ml bottles....I bought them all!
