Honest bookers 25th review. I tried it along side the 2013-6 round table bottle.
1. Both hott! And not really the good hot. Both bottles have a very high proof young bourbon taste and smell.
2. If I wasn't paying attention I could not have been able to tell between the two bottles. The smell or alcohol burn are strong enough to over power the taste. A little more barrel taste with 25th but no where near a $50 premium in price.
I am really seeing the sweet spot in proof for me is between 90-110.

Glad you got to try it before buying it. I think I could easily tell the difference between the two. But that's why there's so many different kinds out there. Guess I'll try trading the one I had for ya just in case you liked it
Finally got them in house....barter first. First sip it's very tasty, the noise on it is very enjoyable! Didn't run it through the aerator this time. Glad I have a few secured. Blowhard next....

I'm having another glass of Barterhouse too.. This is good stuff

The noise on the blowhard is not as strong as the barterhouse but still nice. The flavor is good to...you can taste the richer oak flavor from the age...not overpowering to my bit definitely there. I like them both...wouldn't say favorites but will get mixed in my lineups.

You pouring it through your aerator?
Posted on 3/13/14 at 8:42 pm to NOLAGT
Nah.. I don't use it much. Just for some of the more harsh
