From what I've read so far the proof doesn't matter, as long as the batch is 2013-6 then it was the batch chosen by the roundtable crew.. Guess I need to scoop up a bottle to try.

The 2013-6 is the roundtable batch. Most are thinking that the press release was wrong as all the bottles posted are the 125.9 proof. Nothing extra special about the batch except it was chosen by a "roundtable of experts" like Chuck Crowdery. Most who've gotten it say it pretty much tastes like other Bookers. Doesn't seem like it'll be very collectable, but will be very drinkable.

And 16 hrs later they are done...they both hit about 195 at the same time. Now they rest for an hour and I'll shred n sample.

Side note...I went to Bourbon House and got a pair of those sipping glasses, perfect for those neat pours!
Coronation Ball put me under (and work tomorrow) so no good pours tonight, but I still have a shite-ton of Bulleit and that EWSB...

I just saw some information on a bookers 25 anniversary bottle. Looks like 1000 cases batched at $100 a bottle. Should be coming out soon
