No it's not really. I usually get a few of them and some other things to make it worth while.

I haven't had Martins but did have Alexander's and thought it was very good. Would buy again.

Eta:Alexander's has the 9 yr, not sure which one Martins has.

I have have the 14 from there...id buy again...YUMMY. Also had the 9 from Alexanders...good to go too!

I've had the 9yr Alexanders picked and it's very good. Martin's gets no coin from me so I havent had either of theirs.

What is the overall opinion of 1792 here? I had it at Gw Finns a few months back and enjoyed it but that is the one and only time I had it. Stopped in a place today for the first time on my way home and they just received their hand selected barrel 1792 aged 11 years instead of the standard 8. I didn't think 25 a bottle was too bad but still didn't snag one.

Well the 8yr 1792 usually goes for about $26 retail, so 25 for the 11yr is a great price...jump on that deal. Drink up man.
