Finally acquired 3 bottles of OWA 107 to make my Poor Man's Pappy. Had to go hunt on Dr. Beardface's stand to get them. Seems only fair considering all the carpetbaggers made off with the lottery bottles of real Pappy where I do all my usual business.
Enjoying the 50:50 mix right now. When I get back from hunting I'll mix a larger batch-not a bad daily pour at <$30/fifth. Drinking $150 bottles as my daily drink would just cause stomach upset anyway.

Damn you have killed 4r 125 and now almost finished gts. Pace yourself. I have not opened a btac or van winkle yet. Got to make them last.

Just opened the 20 year and poured two fingers neat. Incredible. I may need to hide the bottle from myself to enjoy for a more festive occasion. I had a bottle of 12 year old last year that I thoroughly enjoyed. This is definitely a notch above.

It's ok... he's got a few friends. When this one is done I probably won't end up opening another for a while.

All these so called small batch and craft whiskeys are ok I guess but
George Dickel White is still the go to for me if I want a drink. I love it straight over crushed ice or neat.

Which store did you hit up around here? They've all got a pretty decent amount of OWA 107, but almost no WLW 12 to go with it. Did you make it out to Manship also?
