last night i swapped a Taylor tornado C for a wlw.

For a while Shreveport had an abundance of Tornado C. I never really cared for it so I left it on the shelf. On a lark I offered a bottle for trade on the BX and had a guy willing to trade me a Four Roses Super Premium (Japan Only) for one. When I went to the store to buy it they were all out.

I could give you a name and address of a store that has one (remember I am in FL) but the owner won't budge on price. He wants $199 for it. You should be able to find it for $135 retail. There was a release in August. If you must have a jps 21 I bet you can get one for cost plus shipping on the bx. Otherwise I would suggest jps 18. It is worth the $150 secondary market price. (It retailed for $85)

If you are talking about Cuban, I bought a couple of Tornado C's there in August. They still had a few more after I got mine. One of my favorites.

I have seen pictures of a jps 25 rye bottle that is coming out sometime in 2014. That might be worth the wait but I am assuming it's going to carry a big price tag. Also Jefferson just released a chef collaboration bottle. I have not seen one in person so no clue what the price tag is.

jps 25

Yeah I had heard about that too...and the guy also said a 30yo was going to come out. I couldn't get confirmation from castle brands other than they have some more older jps coming out shortly.

As for the jps 21 I haven't had any yet but a buddy in Montgomery AL said he saw it on the shelf for $110 a few weeks back.

This is getting out of hand. Isn't the conventional wisdom that bourbon's sweet spot is around 15-18 years and that past that they start to go down hill?

in Lafayette for the weekend...picked up a Jefferson's VOVSB from Ambassador Wine & Spirits for $32...it's about $50 everywhere else I've bought it. Couldn't pass it up for that price...

ETA: spelling
