Just the usual right now except they are completely out of Four Roses. They also got in a tequila and rum selection.

Adam just got back from Bardstown though so maybe something good is on its way.

Anything in particular you are looking for?

It's worth checking out especially if you have never been.

They are opening an 8k sq ft wine, cheese, and spirits shop in Mandeville also which should be finished in May.

I'm new here, and to bourbon, but I actually started reading from post 1100 to get the lay of the land.

I went to Vieux Carre Wine & Spirits today and they had a bunch of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. First I've seen it anywhere in NOLA, and I've been looking everywhere for a few weeks.

The owner said Louisiana got 14 cases and he got 3. It's priced at $65.

I've never seen it for sale before, is that expensive?

Just thought I'd pass that along. #baw

Starting out with Barterhouse while cooking some stuffed chicken breasts. 2 with spinach and mozzarella and 2 with shrimp, crab, and lobster dressing.

Just did a little experiment. Had a blind taste test between Blanton's, Elmer T Lee, and Rock Hill Farms.

Interesting. I've done that before and my results were ETL>Blantons>RHF. Different folks different strokes I guess.

I'm more Blanton's >Rock Hill Farms>>>>ETL

If I'm drinking 1 or 2 I reach for the RHF. If I'm taking out the better part of a bottle I go to Blanton's.

Since the thread has been quiet ive been taking my history lessons also. Started on page 1 and now I'm on 179. Maybe I'll graduate soon and get my doctorate to become a TD bourbon thread historian or something.

I have the tiger, tax stamp damaged but intact, sadly the tail was broken at some point in the past. It was repaired by my dad, but poorly...
