You'd have to drink a few of those decanters a night to lead to have any effect.

Has anyone tried the Jack Daniels single barrel rye? Just saw it in a store but it was $78. Probably wait until next week when I am in Tn to pick up a bottle.

I heard about a bad batch of ETL too. I don't know the laser codes for that batch or if it's been fixed. But I have an old bottle to compare it to. At $43, considering today's markups by most places ($80 at Dorignacs) I figured it was worth a shot. With a replacement bottle, I feel better about opening my old bottle and doing a blind tasting with Rock Hill Farms, Blantons and ETL. I have been wanting to do that for about two years.

I made this note a while back regarding the bad batch of ETL after reading a long thread in FB.
15261 is a good bottle. All the other 1526x bottles taste like mold.
