I know what you mean! I was at a bar a few months back, and they had a one ounce drink of that belvanie 21. I paid $24 for just that one ounce. I don't know why I decided to do that, but I was glad I did! Ever since I had those sips I have been really debating to buy the bottle. I have never spent anywhere close to $200 for a bottle of alcohol, but man I am tempted!

Does Anyone Have Any Recommendations For A Scotch That Is Most Similar To Belvanie 21 In Flavor And Smoothness And Buzz You Get With it? I'm looking to be under $100?
I'm new to the world of scotch (And I've never tried whiskey or bourbon besides the basic Jim and jack)
Any recommendations would be very helpful

You need to look at what they were aged in. The Belvenie 21 is finished aging in Port casks (wine barrels). it has a slight cherry taste to it. The Belvenie 14 is about $75 and is finished aged in rum barrels and is my favorite scotch under $100. It is very smooth.

Am I looked down on by scotch drinkers if I drink bourbon our of a Glencairn glass? I have met some Scotch drinkers that believe the Glencairn is exclusively for Scotch Whiskey.

Who cares what they think. Sometimes I drink whiskey out of a Dixie cup.

Oh, I don't care. It's more for the fact I want to win the argument. When I'm around then, I will only refer to Glencairn glasses as a bourbon glass, just to see their feathers get ruffled a little bit.

Most whiskey bars serve Bourbon neat in a Glencairn.

This is crap... Although Scotch is better than bourbon in every way, drinking any whiskey out of a glencairn glass is acceptable.
As you can tell from my statement, scotch drinkers look down on bourbon drinkers just because they are bourbon drinkers.
