Ignoring all secondary.. I'd take WLW over PVW20

And PVW20 is my favorite of the VW lineup

From small batch to barrel proof, EHT is hands down the best bang for the buck on the market. Their one release stuff is exceptional (I have not tried the sour mash though).
Sour mash is the only one I haven't had also. I wish there was a bar around with a bottle.

Guy I went to school with wife asked me to source a Christmas gift for her. Some of the ones you think would be easy to find prove to be the hardest. I think I will make it before the deadline.

Come to BR. We are doing a big Christmas party in December at the best bar in town with the largest selection of whiskeys and one of them happens to be EHT Sour Mash. It's superb.

Yeah we are pulling all our resources for one last party in December at the Cove. Hopefully we will have some really sweet stuff to giveaway and some other surprises.

FPD: EHT Rye

Man, I will take my PVW20, but it was my first whiskey love affair back in 05/06

How much is a pour of Sour Mash at the Cove?

I can't remember for sure but I'm pretty sure it was around $15. I know it wasn't more than $20.

Wow...sent three emails tonight to BR clients. I will find an excuse to do a happy hour up that way.

This 50% off nights? Do they just have stuff marked up crazy or are they fair and 50% off actually a deal?

BR and NoLa are 2 very different whiskey markets...

Maybe BR would be better for me to put firth an effort in than Mississippi. I could direct my business/spending either way.

For about $50, I'd take it over Booker's...it's definitely one you cut a bit. I'll even drop an ice sphere in every once in a while just for the flavor transformation.

If I see one, I usually pick it up...
