Lol LSUTCC I would have honestly done the same thing. I'm not really good at talking to new people or crowds or what not. This definitely takes me out of my comfort zone. But regardless, you should definitely come tonight! It will be a lot of fun plus there will be awesome bourbon. I mean really, all you have to say is bourbon.

I'm assuming that's sarcasm? You have a sweet collection. BTAC, Pappy, ETL commemorative edition, lots of other ETL, Cured Oak and tornado. Four Roses Marriage and Jeffersons Presidential. #humblebrag

Just the one. Bought two a couple years ago but one didn't last very long. Great stuff. Won't be opening this one for a while.

Well if you consider that meager than I have serious doubts about my own collection. I've never owned a bottle of any BTAC, pappy, OFBB, or the rare Taylor's. Most rare EHT I have is the latest barrel proof.

Picked up some of the Crown Barrel Select today. Looking forward to trying it. I know most in here turn their nose up at Crown or canadian whiskey in general.

I feel like some people see "Crown" or "Canadian Whiskey" on a bottle and their mind is made up before they even taste it. I say that because I have been guilty of it myself. Everyone makes such a big deal about Weller 12 and I used to think it was amazing which likely had something to do with the reputation of it(side note i still think its real good especially for the price), but when we did a blind tasting a couple weeks back it was everyone, including my, least favorite. Trust me I was shocked. Anyhow thats my rant haha

I'm a fan of Pendleton. Looking forward to trying the new 1910 edition they released.

Weller 12 is a ghost around here (south Florida)

You laugh but there's a whiskey bar here that sells it for $200 a pour. At 1.1k, they'd still make a profit.

Just because someone does it doesn't make it acceptable. My friends bar down here does it for $180 a pour and both of us can't believe people do it.

It goes for that much or more on those online auctions. Some people just have money to throw away...drop in the bucket
