Lol yeah I've never heard of any extra aged JD. Would be nice to try but I don't think we are that lucky. I remember drinking JD all the time in college and just wish they had something that was aged longer or what not to sip on. I would seriously pay money for a quality JD offering for nostalgia alone. The Single Barrel to me has always been over rated for the price and not as good as some of the offerings from Dickel.
Wish JD worked on stuff like this instead of the current "flavored trend" nastiness. That stuff is just awful, truly awful.

This was my thoughts as well, even if it was a one time offering. I'd get one just to try out of curiosity.

Gents, I am hosting a party next weekend and will have a whiskey bar as well as a champagne bar. Each bar will have a pre made cocktail as well. I need suggestions and a recipe for a big batch bourbon cocktail.

All kidding aside, Mint Juleps have to be in there somewhere. The pre made stuff is pretty good.

I have yet to try a Kentucky Mule (maybe I will tonight) but if they are anywhere near as good and refreshing as a Moscow Mule in the summer I would suggest that. Just have it premixed in a big bowl and they can put it in a cup with ice
