Please come back when you test it with the hydrometer and let us know the results.
I've only been into bourbon for about 3 years, but I've certainly never heard of the "weight test".
I can tell you I put this next to ECBP and it's nowhere close in proof.
But, think about it this way, IF it's 130 proof, then you got a single barrel ECBP for 30 bucks, which is a positive, and not a negative.
Put some water in it and go town, big daddy.

Ok, I deleted the post. I want some one here to do the same test on their open bottle.
Jackie will be at the store Monday.

It’s 94 proof. They got almost 200 bottles out of it...

Since I didn't go drop $200 on dinner anywhere tonight, treating myself to a new $140 bottle.
Deanston 20yr, matured in Oloroso casks, 55.5%.

Bus, is that Redbreast 12yr cask strength worth $65?

I like that logic. Clear backup plan.

quote:65 for the cask strength? Usually the regular Redbreast 12 is 60-65. I've never seen the cask strength below $79. And it's absolutely worth that.
