What the price of that Weller 12?

True retail is $30-40

Went by to get a bottle today and all they had was the 131.

Ask for Clint next time. The 135 is behind the 131.

My wife paid $25.99 each. Right time, right place. Buddy of mine was "killing time" between BB games for his daughter in Lafayette a month ago and walked into Costco. Guy was putting ORV 10 on the shelf for $60. He and his friend bought 2 of the 3 bottles they had. Right time, right place.

Yeah. I wouldn’t use warehouse stores as a barometer of retail. They usually operate on paper thin margins in an attempt to make it up in volume. Or they agree to purchase such large quantities that they get better pricing from a national representative (as opposed to local/state) and then each specific store is billed...

That said, Costco is notoriously low on alcohol. So for the consumer it’s great. Haha

But I’d tell you that no independent would sell Weller 12 @ $25 and hope to make any money off the deal.

I love High West Double Rye! I have a SB of the Am Prairie I got at Martins and it’s really good.

FWIW, I hardly ever buy alcohol at a warehouse club. I believe in supporting my local stores. I found W12 last summer at Metairie grocery and got it for 29.99

Yep. Still got a couple bottles. Think the excitement was tempered by the fact that it’s 80 proof. Who does that? lol
