Not a huge Whiskey drinker ...
i LIKE SMOOTHNESS SO MORE WHEAT BASED OOPS CAPS

Last night at a Cigar Show, we were paired up with

Devil's River Whiskey (Texas made) pretty good to my taste.
only available in a few states I am told. .. I tried the non rye.(bourbon)

I personally didn’t like the Devil’s River. I thought it was peaty and I’m not a scotch drinker. I prefer the Witherspoon for TX made bourbon.

For the High West fans in the thread, I’ve got Double Rye & American Prairie @ $25 and Rendezvous & Campfire @ $59.99 while supplies last...Oak Point in Central

A couple of people did not seem to like the rye as much, but most liked the Bourbon ... I did,
but then, I am not a connoisseur when it comes to Bourbon.
I found it pretty smooth.

Witherspoon for TX .... will try.

Are all of the High West bottles, in your opinion, a buy at their MSRP?

I've never had any of them.

I agree...had a few bottles for our raffle, but even those were hard to get!

I think Double Rye and Rendezvous are buys at $30/$70 respectfully, the others are good too, but at the prices above, I’d give them all a try. We don’t typically see them discounted very often. Especially higher end ones.

The regular proof bourbon is the only one I've had, and it was absolutely horrible to me.

It's all subjective, of course, so no intent to offend your preference.

What the price of that Weller 12? I found some the other day but it was $150. I thought that was outrageous

The double rye is really good and a steal at that price.
