I drank enough old fashioneds over the weekend, need a break for a few days! How is that crown? I haven’t purchased any of the whiskey in years.

First bottle I have had of it. It’s a good sipper. It has a bit of a different flavor profile than regular crown, as it’s finished in wine barrels. It’s 80 proof so it’s not overly hot. I usually drink it neat or with very little ice.

Saw some Crown Royal Bourbon Mash today. Distributor said it would be relabeled so the bottle may have collector value. Any opinions on the juice or the distributor claim

I don't think that will be collectible...

It won’t have collector value. They are re labeling it because the ttb fricked up and approved the use of the word bourbon.

They are saying that because no one is buying it.

Would the Specs in Beaumont have any good bourbon worth looking at that we might not get in Br?

Specs usually has a good selection, but it’s hit or miss location to location. I’ve found handles of Weller 12 at one, and nothing worthwhile at another.

Worth dropping in though

Just went to specs in Beaumont. There's nothing. Got a walking stick and a pint of Weller SR. Lackluster
