Yeah, not a good trade for the blanton’s owner...
Blanton’s is trading for about EHT Single Barrel right about now

I have a bottle of that James Pepper 1776 bourbon, really enjoy it.

I’ve never seen Blanton’s for less than $50, and sometimes upwards of $57-60
I’ve never seen EHTSmB for more than $40 and my shop has it for $35.99
So maybe it’s in between Small Batch & Single Barrel, but SmB isn’t a worthy trade option IMO

Good deal
1PD - Johnny Drum......not sure how I feel about it but it’s not bad for $26.

Found some Weller 12yr at the store for $70. Worth it, or should I pass on it at that price?

Second-hand market is around $100, retail is around $30 (or used to be last time I saw it.) I think it is a great bottle up to $40 but I don't know if it is worth more than that.

Someone make a scotch recommendation. Drink probably 95% bourbon/5% Irish. Never really like scotch but looking to branch out a little.

Being a bourbon fan, I find Dalmore 12 a good transition.
