You gon be ok Stud? Lol. I've never ever looked at prices for PVW so I had no idea what they go for. That's why I asked. If that's funny to you I guess knock yourself out.
There's also a bottle of Thomas Handy and George Stagg. Waiting on particulars.

Now see....THAT information is much better than
So that price is too high then...because a guy below you disagrees. That's why I'm asking man. I really don't know. I usually drink EHTaylor, AE, 4 Roses small, etc. Never ventured towards the top shelf stuff.

I posted this a couIple of pages ago, here it is again. I like to make mine, with 2oz bourbon or rye, 2 bar spoons of simple syrup, 3/4 bar spoon of bitters, bar spoon with 1 la roux cherry and a little cherry syrup. Stir that all up, add to 1 big cube of ice or a few small ones and an orange rind. No muddling for me.

Was just gifted this bottle. As far as I can tell it was bottled between 1932-1975. I was told it was from the 40s, but I don't know.
The brand has been around since 1810, and was supposedly the favorite of one Johnny Ringo and his "Huckleberry", Doc Holliday.
Can anyone tell anything from the tax stamp?

Wick...your opinion on my question?

Whoa. I got no clue but that is awesome. Has it been opened?

On the Pappy? It is hard to get any Pappy, the 10 year is good but no better than many other 10-12 year old burbons. The price is better than second hand. True retail is around $60. You are buying the name more than anything with this bottle. I would rank any of the Antique collection over this bottle, but if money isn't tight, it isn't a bad purchase.

Perfect. Thank you kindly!

I was laughing at someone trying to hawk the 10 year rip at that price. Wasn’t laughing at you. Apologies. But yeah, like wick said, you’re paying for a label. The juice really isn’t anything special. If you have an opportunity to get a stagg or handy (and not at some silly $400 - $500 price) then that’s a way better use of your money.

I would jump all over that ORVW 10 at $200.

Long time lurker first time poster in this thread. Fellas, I might be hooked on the bourbon game.

Nice score. I haven’t seen a damn W12 on shelves in 2 years.

The fun comes after the score, when the bottle gets open...
