Welp. Took a morning inventory a little while ago for funsies.
I should probably slow down and drink what I have first before buying more...but I can't stop

Looks like we lucked into the same batch compadre.
This most recent batch was the mildest I've seen (I have opened bottles of 138-140 stuff). As with the others, it's really good.

Thoughts on it after the added water?
Tried it neat yet?
I'll sip it neat most of the time, but often have some water on the side to cool the burn every few sips...last night I was looking to experiment a little.
Normally if I do go with ice, I start sipping immediately and enjoy the gradual mellowing as it goes from 135-140 proof to probably closer to 110 or so. Last night I poured it and walked away for 8-10 mins...was different to have a milder pour from the start but as always with EC, it's still got a ton of flavor.
I wouldn't do this with a Stagg or WLW, but ECBP is one of my favorites that's somewhat accessible a couple times a year.

Which store in the br/denham area has the best and largest selection of scotch and whiskey at a reasonable price?

worth the roughly $60 american doll hairs for a bottle you think? Really wanting to try it but $60 is a lot of money for dat BF jooce.

Don't get up there too often, but Calandro's is where I usually go

Calandros in BR. Hokus Pokus in Dutchtown will randomly have a few nice bottles. Alexanders had a really nice barrel Select of Eagle Rare though I'm not sure there's any left.

Yes. I think it's as good as this years' release of Birthday Bourbon (but not as good as the 15...).

Finally found a bottle of ETL in Mandeville for $40

i've seen a few people float this idea and I've got to say, i want what you're smoking...
1920 is good but in no way compares to Birthday Bourbon (any year). It's a much higher proof and about half the age....no way
