Guy made it seem like he only wanted to sell me one. I would have bought multiples if I had the chance. It was really luck I got this one. A liquor rep, I ran into and started talking to, at one store contacted another place that he knew had it and told them I was coming to get it. So thanks random liquor rep I met today.

The elmer is basically the only thing I actively search for, I was hoping Martin's in New Orleans would come through with a shipment this week but as of today they said they didn't get any. This was just plane old luck today.

If I find another few bottles I'll try and get one to you.

Your salesman is not being honest with you.

Stick to one salesman if you havent already. Mark is their top whiskey salesman and j.p. is their top wine guy.

All I did was call and ask, I've never been there before, only the one in br. I don't get down to New Orleans often. Thanks for the tip tho, I'll ask for Mark next time. Y'all have been very helpful getting me started over the last couple years, although it does dwindle the available stock with every new guy showing up.

Tell him you spoke with him a few times when he directed you to some good bottles on your last few trips in...and now you were looking for some etl.

That made me think of this for some reason.

How's tax season treating you?

To lazy to snap a pic tonight. 1PD & 2PD were HW Double Rye. Nice to see everyone scoring ETL. Haven't hunted in a few weeks. Missing out.

It blows. Not so much the taxes right now but the fact that at 1/1 shite seems to hit the fan in every aspect of the business certainly keeps things fun. I look toward some good whiskey to keep me sane over the next few months.

Already have a trip booked for 4/18!

What part of the state do you practice in?

BR. We do a ton of real estate audits with tax credits. Most have a draft audit/tax return due date of 2/15 (they roll up into funds mostly owned by banks). So it's balls to the wall right now. Bourbon sure does make winding down in the evening much better. Lol. Yourself?

Yeah, bourbon helping with the wind down is an understatement. I'm in Nola and have the pleasure of doing audit, tax, and forensic accounting/litigation support, so we stay relatively busy throughout the year.

The in-office bar is stocked with BT products so that makes things interesting at the office once the clock ticks past 5:00.
